One of New York City’s most anticipated events on the design calendar, Archtober returns for its 15th edition in 2025. Taking place from October 1 to 31, the city-wide festival transforms New York into a month-long celebration of architecture, design, and urban life.

A City-Wide Celebration of Design
Stretching across all five boroughs, Archtober collaborates with more than 100 institutions, including museums, cultural organizations, universities, and public spaces. The festival features a rich program of exhibitions, guided tours, workshops, panel discussions, and film screenings, inviting visitors to engage with the city’s architecture from multiple perspectives.
From exploring New York’s architectural icons to rethinking the role of design in shaping communities, Archtober creates an open platform for both professionals and design enthusiasts to connect, learn, and share ideas.
A Month of Dialogue and Discovery
At its core, Archtober is about conversation — a reminder that architecture is not only about buildings but also about life, culture, and the people who inhabit cities. Each year, the festival brings together architects, designers, artists, and the public to discuss how design can respond to social, environmental, and cultural challenges.
In its 15th year, Archtober 2025 promises a dynamic city-wide program that maps out the architectural pulse of New York — from neighborhood-scale interventions to large-scale exhibitions.
Archtober 2025 takes place from 1–31 October 2025 at various locations across New York City, USA.
