well urban things is a personal archive project born out of the desire to make the impacts of urban design on everyday life visible.

Founded in 2021 during the stillness of the pandemic, well urban things began as Doğukan Güngör’s personal inspiration board on Instagram. In a short time, it evolved into a discovery space for anyone interested in cities. Initially intended solely as a personal archive, by 2025 it had grown into a curated platform bringing together alternative ideas for public space, temporary structures, pavilions, competitions, and social impact projects.

well urban things asks: How else could a city be? — through unexpected installations on the street, architectural interventions that transform abandoned spaces, or designs that challenge our relationship with the urban environment. Sometimes it focuses on a pavilion at a festival, other times on an overlooked bench design. Each post is an invitation to rethink the connections we have with our cities.
